Chris Lundy’s July Exhibit at The Bowen Center for the Arts
6/28/2016 On July 8th, The Bowen will host the Opening Reception for Dawsonville Art Teacher, Chris Lundy. Chris has produced approximately 80 works for his one man show “A Painting A Day.” His recent works were drawn from observation, photographs and his imagination. Whether it was the way the light reflected in glass or painting a cake to make it look delicious, he committed himself to paint a painting a day to overcome his tendency to labor over a subject. Chris will also be featuring a large body of student artwork from his classrooms for the community to enjoy.
The public is invited to attend the Opening Reception on July 8th from 5:00 to 7:00pm to meet Chris and view his wonderful talent. The Exhibit runs July 8 to 23, and is free and open to the public. Hours at The Bowen are Tuesday to Friday 10-4 and Saturday 12-4.
The Bowen is located just North of Dawsonville’s Historic Square at 334 Highway 9N (Next door to Lanier Technical College). For further information, call 706.216.ARTS (2787), email: firstname.lastname@example.org or check us out on FaceBook at Bowen Center for the Arts.
